Radiator upgrade?

Radiator upgrade?
i'm looking to do an upgrade on my 1988 XJ, it has the "closed" cooling system (or lack of), and i'm looking to swap in a radiator from a '95 to '98 XJ, and i was wondering could i get away with just swapping the upper radiator core support? or do i have to get the whole core support set from the donor/salvage vehicle?

you guys just made my job alot simpler, thanks, looks like a radiator for a '92 will bolt directly in, and i can pick up a 3row "thermal buster" from Napa thats manufactured by Modine for 135 locally, y'all just made my job easier
