Racing seat won't work/fit
Got a "SCAT" (driver's side) racing seat today from JCW.
Supposed to fit a 1998 XJ, but there is no way it could fit correctly & still recline.
Plus the front part would be so high my legs wouldn't fit under the steering wheel.
New sliders were for some other vehicle & the seat wouldn't work with the stock sliders.
Maybe If I could chop out some of the trans tunnel, and had a fab shop to work in to make completely new mounting brackets.
Hate to send it back, it seems pretty nice,
