Default Quick disco's when disconnected

I have seen several setups with straps of some kind to hold the disco and swaybar up. Is it possible to install holding pins without having the front skid plate? I can't seem to find much on this possibly because it can't be done.

My rough country ones have a little bracket they slide onto and are held in place with a pin.

I have Rusty's quick discos and they have some extra hardware that came with them but unfortunately no documentation was provided that gave specific directions for each vehicle that they will fit. I did not get a chance to take an extensive look under my xj but a quick glance didn't reveal any obvious locations that the additional hardware will mount up.
