Default Question about s-10 spring packs

I went to JY today to look at the s-10 spring packs bc im considering putting together a JY lift. I noticed that some s-10 springs have 3 leaves and some 4. What is the difference between the two and the better to use for lift? Thanks.

Grab the one with four. It will be easier for you to adjust the spring weight I think. I have the Blazer one and it came with four I think.

If you haven't figured out yet.. The lift pack with 4 includes the overload leaf- I would take the overload leaf out. Also, this leaf pack will push your axle back a couple of inches.

If they are cheap enough get either pack and cut the eyelets off the main leaf. Bolt them in place and check the lift, if to much pull a leaf out. I almost went with an s10 bastard pack but found an add a leaf before I got the s10 packs. If you have the $ the way to go would be to keep the stock leaf packs, get a 1.5-2in shackle and a shackle relocation kit that gives you another 1-1.5in. This way you get way more flex and ride comfort.
