Default question about my lift and new rims

i have some cheapo 31'' tires on my jeep, with stock rims, and a 3.5'' lift made by the local 4x4 shop that professionalizes in lifts and stuff... now, if i were to get Cragar Soft 8 rims, will it widen my stance out wider than this below? i'm not a hard core wheeler, just like the looks. thanks for the help!

Depends on what back spacing you go with. It's all about the bs

I went through summit racing for my soft 8's. I called because I wanted some assistance on my total order.
the guy I talked to was knowledgeable and helpful. they'll tell you exactly what ones you need. then you can just hang up if you dont want to buy from them haha

got these for my 33x12.5xR15's
set of 4, center caps, valve stems, and lugs for $277 shipped. havent mounted or installed yet but more backspace will certainly make them stick out a little further
and I think that the general consensus is that 4" BS is the most acceptable. plus they'll work great if you want wider tires in the future yeah?

As said before, it depends on the backspacing you get, you could get them so they sit the same as it does now or so the tires are completely outside of the fenders.

i think these are 4'' BS.. so they will make them stick past the fenders a bit?

I have 3.75" bs and love the wide stance but youll have to do some minor trimming of bumper end caps

As others have posted.... the less the backspacing the more the tire/rim will stick out of the fender well...
Installed 15x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing over 10 years ago. This rim width allows you to run tires up to 35" and the 4.5" bs will allow you to run 33" tires with some fender trimming and 4.5" of lift.
Not sure what the laws are in your area, but some states will ticket you for too much tire tread not covered with a fender flare.

I was pulled over last week because of my tires sticking out too far, he let me off but I put fender flares on so i am safe now

Question as I have been wanting to get bigger rubbers and new rims. I've heard that with a D35 my limit is at 31s. Mine sits on a 4" lift. Is that true? Wanna go any bigger do I have to upgrade the rear axel?
