Default put on a 3 in suspenion lift..now the rear hits hard

I just put on a 3 in rustys suspension lift...but now everytime I hit a minor bump the rear hits like somethings going to come through the floor board...any ideas?

did you tighten your leaf springs and shackles when the Jeep was in the air? or on the ground?

no hitch...and i torqued it after it was on the ground. 100lb for the front mount, 75 for the u-bolts, 25 for the rear mount

could the rear shackle be too tight and not allowing it to move back and forth as needed?

hell maybe I am wrong... but I have always used 65 ft/lbs never failed me... AND IT RIDES/FLEXES well

but 25 ft/lbs is the one that worries me

you used 65lbs on the shackles...maybe ill try and tighten it

Could be your shocks if you didn't install bar pin eliminators, or it could be like others said your shackles.

that will not make it ride like you are talking...

take some pictures of the rear springs and shackles...
