Push button start and maybe tcm? question
So I recently installed a push button start system in my jeep.
I have three switches, two toggle and one push button.
One toggle for ignition, the other for acc.
Push button for start.
Everything works without the key... except I cannot shift out of park without using the key.
I thought I might splice into the TCM and or the ignition switch.
Thinking more into it I realized these are modules/switches and they have no wires to splice into or so I assume.
I took the lock pins in the steering out a while back so I do not need the key for that.
I also tried taking the ignition lock cylinder out but then the engine would not shut off since I spliced into everything not cut wires and such.
So I am just wondering what I can do to be able to shift without the key as I installed the system for that reason. Well besides the fact that my lock cylinder sticks all the time and is really annoying. [Yes I realize I could just spray some pb in it and solve this problem but keyless start is just so cool ]
Any help would be A-MAZ-ING.
