Default Programmer crashed my computer

I was using a Hypertech programmer, had an electrical surge and it crashed my computer. I've heard a dealer can re-flash the computer and bring it back to life. Is this true or do I have to replace it? Right now it turns over but won't start and the gauges are dead. None of the fuses are burnt out either.

So Hypertech said I could send in my computer and the programmer to help resolve my issue. Where is this located and what does it look like? I'm not the best with electrical stuff

Do I just unplug everything, pull it off the firewall and that's what they're talking about? This is part of their response. Not sure if its the only Jeep that's been programmed cause it came with the Jeep. I suppose they'll screw me on charges if it was used previously.

"We can have you send the computer and programmer in to us for evaluation. There is no charge for this if your progammer is still under warranty. If you purchased the programmer new, and your Jeep is the only vehicle that the programmer has been used on, then it is still covered under the lifetime warranty. Call us back, and we'll set up a return authorization number to send it in."
