Power Issues
Ok so I just installed a new battery on my 89 xj cuz my truck wuldnt turn on but now it turns and everything but when I turn my offroad lights on and my a/c on at the same time my battery gauge starts to drop could it be my alternator, what can I do to the alterntor to give more amps and what would be a good battery to install if I wanted to add 4 KC lights on it and also I have a 1000 watt kicker amp installed but not connected to any speakers

Could be that the alternator is putting out enough amps, somewhere on this forum is a list of junkyard mods you can do to replace your alternator. I believe you can get a ZJ alt that pumps out more amps, and there are others listed as well. Why are there no speakers hooked to your amp, is the amp usually on while driving even though it's not doing anything?
