Question Power aid throttle body spacer

Has anyone tried the power aid spacer and if you have do you feel any diffrence in the throttle response or any better low end torque ? Or is this just a waste of money?

Lots of threads on this already. Use the search button or google it.

x2. Unless you've got a carb or TBI, a throttle body spacer is junk.

Bought a parts heep that had one made by rustys. I put it on last week and so far have lost 2 mpg. It does sound like it has a turbo, and slightly changed shift pattern, it now waits a little longer to hit overdrive. I just wanted to try it cause i had one, would definatly not spend the 75$ that they want for one

if you do other flow work, aka ported TB 99+ intake with a header and full exhaust along with a cam and port the heads it might help a little. but they are paper weights

I got one that i bought for 5$ i dont really think it did anything except make a cool noise. only way to tell is to hook it up to a dyno or something, but not going to do that so who knows

those spacers work on the principle of air fuel atomization. i.e. the farther your air+fuel travels, the better it atomises, the better explosion you have in your combustion chamber. with our motors (asuming the 4.0l) are direct port injected. so the atomization doesn't start till the injectors do their thing, well after the TB or any goofy spacer that one might put in. if you want better fuel atomization, i hear the neon 703 injectors are the way to go. (or 784's depending on your motor)
