Default Popping from front driver's side in 4-lo

Over the last few months I have upgraded my 99's suspension with a RE 3.5 super flex kit, new adj. trackbar, steering stabilizer, brake lines, wheels, tires, SYE and DS.

I have taken it out a few times on some very technical trails and it has performed awesome.

Yesterday, when in four low and going straight up hill, I noticed what sounded and felt like popping from the drivers side front. Almost like gear missing or something under pressure releasing it. It doesn't happen every revolution. Seems the more under load, the more likely it is. My two previous rides in the last month did not exhibit this behavior.

2Hi and 4 hi don't seem to have a problem.

I checked to make sure everything was tight. Seems to be.

Does this sound like a bad ujoint? Could it be something in the front diff? I know its not possible to diagnose over the internet, I am just trying to get a few ideas to check out. I'm moderately mechanical, but no pro.

Thanks in advance for the help.
