has anyone installed the poison spyder hood louvers on their Cherokee?
i know they're only made for the wranglers but i like the style louver. i know it can be done, just want some info on the install, and if anyone on here has installed them?

XJ hoods aren't completely flat, they have a dip in the middle so the louvers aren't going to sit flat.
Have you seen the Hyline louvers?

I guess the hyline's are the closest type of design to the poison spyder's, I can't stand the those types of louvers that look like the vents in my house lol

Poison spyder hood louvers on XJ
I know this is an old post, but prior to doing my install I had no information so I thought I would share.
The louver does fit nicely. You simply position it close enough to the front edge to cover the center dip. The rear center screw gets washers or a shim to bridge the gap. I also included pictures of the hood rough cut, showing how much cooling you're able to get with this louver.

So it appears only about 1/2 of the louvered area actually vents hot air out...just like the Hyline version....
Was that due to hood bracing, or ??
Wonder how hard it'd be to install a washer nozzle in that one for extra washing when ya been out in the mud ??
