What is a good locker for front dana 30 and the rear C8.25 29 spline...iv been looking at the powertrax (no-slip locker) for both front and rear would that be a good idea for a DD... my jeep is a 2000 is my dana 30 a 27 spline or a 30 spline

I still plan on putting a powertrax no slip in my rear c8.25. It will be my final mod thats on the list for now. Every other week 4wheelparts.com has it on sale for 425. Idk how it will be in the front, it might be a little jerky Ive heard good and bad things. I have an OX locker in the front and I love it but thats an 800$ locker plus u gotta reset the Ring gear on the new carrier.

Deff put it in the rear I heard its practially silent and you wont notice it to much on the steet.

Depending on what you wheel and how u plan to wheel after the lockers I would suggest just locking the rear then do the front if u rele feel u need to be full locked esp. if this is ur DD.

I have one in the front and only notice it when making u-turns or pulling into parking spaces. I can hear it click and it will jerk a little but not enough to complain about it.

i just put mine in the rear and its great on the road. i can tell its there but it makes no noise/ratcheting. cant wait to test it out off road.

Been running it as a DD for 9 years! broken 3 axles in it and bent the first housing it was in. It still works like new!
