Default Please help!

I just traded my f350 for a 96 cherokee sport, w/a 5 speed, I am having issues with getting it inspected as the nss is tripping the computer, along with the O2 sensor, meanwhile there are no wires going to the O2 sensor and I was told nss is only on auto trannys. If the truck was converted from auto to manual what additional wiring would I need to add to the harness and it also has cruise control

Thanks in advance

If it was converted from auto to manual you probably need a manual PCM to avoid nss codes.

agreed. there are ways around it so doesnt send code. we have done three 5 speed swaps two of which we also swapped the pcm. and one we just made work but took some dicking around to make it not trip a code.

along with the pcm you would need to get the CSS[clutch safety switch] , same idea as the NSS[neutral safety switch] but for a std.
