Play in my Steering
Hey guys, I've got a 2 inch lift and 30x9.5's on my 98 XJ I put on about a year ago and I've recently started to get some play in my steering. I adjusted my steering box and had an alignment; thats helped some with keeping it in the road, but still hasn't fixed the problem. Does anybody have any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Did they replace the tie rod ends when you got the alignment, they could be worn out. Also make sure your track bar is tight.

When I had it aligned they didn't replace those and thanks I'll check that stuff out. I rotated my tires and got a little bit of vibration in the steering from some uneven wearing on the tires I guess. I ended up switching the tires back, but that may have caused some pre-mature wearing on those tie rod ends.
