Pic Request: 3.5" on 32's and 33's
Hey guys, just got a MetalCloak 3.5" lift. Really torn between 32s and 33s, (width doesnt really matter, 10.5-12.5) as I know I could probably get away with stock fender flares on 32s with hidden cutting in the right spot, but I would love to wheel on 33s. I think 33s + 3.5" looks great. Could I get some pictures of both? I would prefer to see some with stock fenders, as bushwackers and flat flares really don't impress me as far as appearance, and trimmed also does not look super great, if done sloppy. Is there any alternative fender flare? I think big tires with stock flares looks pretty clean. Thanks for any contribution. Also, I have been using photo reference from this site, it really is a gem. http://www.myjeepxj.com/cherokee-lift-kits

3.5 Tuff Country Xtreme Flex Lift - I think lift stood tall for what it was.
Goodyear MTR 33" 10.50 on 17" Rims (Same tire in 12.50 width would not even pull out of driveway), with sway bar connected it would barely rub on flex with 10.50 tire - lost a flare once but was not wheeled a lot, was my daughters daily driver.
Same Jeep on BF Goodrich Mud Terrian 32" 10.50 on 17" Rim

Again 12.50's will rub like CRAZY, 10.50 will rub when flexed and probably quite a bit with Sway Bars Disconnected, I did some minor trimming, but not much.
All below are on 33's 10.50 except obviously the last one

This is my daughters Trail Jeep now, on 33" Goodyear MTR with 12.50 tire, 15" Rim (the tires that would not work on the other Jeep), the lift I am not sure what it has.

Your Welcome Sethers7775
If going to with 33's stick with 10.50 width, and be prepared to bump stop it a little, The rims I used were Stock Steel 17" rims off a Late Model Dodge Challenger, Magnum, or 3000. and I loved the way it looked at 3.5" of lift and 33's, both of us got compliments on how it looked all the time.
I have more pictures if you want.
PS: Both of those are 2000 Cherokee's, The blue jeep had this lift on it when I bought it, and was only on for 2 weeks when the guy blew the motor on it and I bought it. http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/43803k-tc.html

Here's mine on 33x10.5's with the Rubicon Express 3.5" lift. Fenders are stock and untrimmed. I can't turn tight at all and the tires rub every time when I back up, even with the less-backspaced wheels.

In short, it all depends on your tires, your lift, and your rims....
I would still go 3.5" and look at getting H.D. Engineering Shackle relocators (better flex better ride) which will add .75-1.5 in of lift in back (pending on what shackle you use even more), and just get coil spacer in front, I lucked out and scored a set of ACOS adjustable coil spacers - This is what I did for my 35's on 4.5" of lift.
