Performance TB
Anyone recommend a good brand of performance throttle bodies for a 1999? I think there is a guy on here that bores them out too. A link to that would be great. Also wondering what the largest size they go up too is?

I found this one too. Are they all 400$? I was hoping to spend less than that.

The bored ones on EBay are pretty good as well believe it or not... I think my 62mm was like 110 bucks and it is beautiful haha. I waited for a few months for the strokedjeep guy to have them available and just went a different route.

Agreed bigger is not always better, to much fuel can cause as many problems as to little. It's a very fine line balancing act matching every mod with another to show an increase in HP or TQ.

The opening on the manifold is only 62mm... So without boring that, any larger seems silly to me. I see some on the strokerforum that go larger but usually open the intake as well.

Besides, opening the manifold and Tb up too much will hurt the low end (which is what the 4.0 was designed for anyways) and shift the powerband to the higher RPMs. Great for racing, crappy for off-road or daily driving.
