Performance Exhaust
Hey guys, so I have some leaks and what not in my stock exhaust an I've been considering upgrading to a high performance system. I'd just like some ideas for relatively cheap exhaust setup. By the way I have an 88 with the 4.0 and I live in fascist California, anything you guys have is appreciated!

Where is it leaking? If it's the manifold a new APN header from www.ineedparts.com are cheap and they work great.

Engine: 4.0L upgraded charging system & blue top, flowmaster 44, hi flow cat and two core rad.
I put a flowmaster 44 and tail pipe from performance curve on mine, I'm really liking the sound. Here's a video clip of the exhaust note.

First thing to do is get rid of the "crush" in the headpipe right after the exhaust manifold. Have a muffler shop make you one with two 45* bends in it vs the 90* bend that's there with the huge dent in it. You'll feel the difference immediately.

I got the dynomax 2.5" muffler and tailpipe. Instant "pep" sounds nice when puttin it down. Very livable drone when driving.
I like those headers that were posted. Id like to finish the exhaust with a matching flow cat and 2.5" from header to cat.

If your going to replace your exhaust manifold I would recomend procomp electronics a few guys in my club run them and love them. I got one of the same design and good quality from ebay about a year ago and it also works great. Also like earlier suggested replace the head pipe that comes from the header to get rid of the kink.
