Part-Time Dash Light Fix for CAD Delete
 

Wonder if any cf parishioners have completed the CAD delete mod, including swapping out the vacuum switch on the t-case (NP231 specifically) for an electrical switch so that the 4wd dash lights will work.

I swapped the CAD polluted Dana 30 on my 1991 XJ for a 96' high pinion Dana 30. Wondering if this will work on a t-case in a 91' XJ?

Deleted many CADs, but never worried about the light since the lever position indicates engagement.

You can only imagine what it was like in the olden days......2 block knobs with no writing on them !!!!!!!
