ox locker and gears d30 install ?

Just ordered a ox locker for my d30 and am getting ready for the locker and gear install.

Ive got 4.56 ring and pinion and standard master install kits for the front and rear axles but I'm wondering if I need special bearings or shims for the ox.
Cant find any info on their site or google. Quadratec said I don't but that doesnt really mean anything lol
Anyone done this install ?

Have you ever set gears up before? Do you have the tools that you need?

This isn't something that you just bolt in. You know that right?

I have this printed and bound in my shop for reference.

There is a video on YouTube that says you shouldn't have to set up the gears again but you might have to shim. Every gear set will be different.

With a new set of gears and carrier/locker he'll have to.

OP, you have everything you need.

I know with some like the eaton e locker you need different bearings then stock ones wasn't sure about the ox and couldn't find any info

thanks !

It shouldn't need anything special. Anything that it uses different should be listed in the locker paperwork.

Pretty sure the stock stuff works just fine.

Didnt need anything special for my OX in my 44, I don't recall my buddy having to add anything to his 30 OX either.

Yup 1030.00 with the locker, cover, cable, electronic switch instead of shifter, and manual locking key. they even did free shipping

Just about the same as arb even with a free compressor

Yea I hear ya. Idk I figure for a dd weekend wheeler it will be all set
on 33s. I'll get some spare shafts/upgraded at some point. Maybe truss it if I go to 35s down the road
