JCR and IRO both have their advantages and disadvantages.
The JCR system uses off the shelf parts available at any auto parts store. The downside is that to install it you have to buy a 75 dollar ream to install it correctly.
The IRO system uses a not so off the shelf components which you have to have a few extra in your parts bin in case you break one. The nice thing is that you can install it with every day tools and bolts.
When the time comes I am going to get the IRO system and pick up 2 extra joints in case of failure.

But if you get the JCR setup repair and replacement will be easier since joint are more available. I would go JCR and put upwith the one time cost of the ream(tool).
