Default Opinions on xmember/tcase skid?

OK, I've never seen a crossmember designed in this way, maybe for certain reasons, so I ask all of you for input. My idea for this design is the ability to easily drop the t-case or raise it back to normal height. The angle iron mounts so that one side is perpendicular to the frame and could have two sets of holes in it for lowered or stock. My idea is also to leave the frame area open so that I can eventually build upon it for longarm mounts. Keep in mind, my frame will have stiffeners welded in place, so the angle iron will mount to that, not just the frame itself. Material is 3/16" and bolts will be 1/2" grade 8.
