You can get the tie rods at any parts store, mid 80's Chevy will work and look like JCRs. DOM for the tie rod and drag link and you'll also need a tie rod reamer to fit the larger tie rod ends.

the tube adapters for the one ton ends will only fit in 1.5" .250 wall dom. you would have to machine 1.25 to make them fit. check out ruff stuff for the adapters and ever the tres

so when you do this you replace both bars with dom? because one of the bars has a hole in it for the tie rod end. maybe some pics would help me understand this. also what one is the drag link and what one is the tie rod?

wow that helped alot thanks. so it looks like on those set ups they dont even use tie rod ends just a bolt and heim joints with high missalignment spacers? and i guessing you can do this to any axle just drill out the tapper for a regular bolt?

It is what a lot of us do. Just make sure you use quality Heims with safety washers and stover Nuts.

My setup might be a lil different then yours

Just make sure it's legal where you live. Heims aren't here but jonny law doesn't seem to mind.
