Ok so I'm on my second xj and I put a rc 4 1/2 in lift on both of them and both started leaking oil pretty bad afterwards the oil thing I can figure is that the transfercase spacers have the motor at a bad angle causing it anybody else have this problem any suggestions

Where is it leaking from? A really common cause is rear main seal.

Can't tell for sure yet haven't had time to really look at it but it didn't leak at all before the lift and it's a fairly new rear main I just put it in last summer when I pulled the motor out . But a week after the lift I'm dripping oil pretty good on the passenger side

There are many places it can leak from, the valve cover, oil filter adapter, oil pressure sender, distributor, oil pan, or rear main. Degrease that engine of yours, take it for a short drive and take a closer look at it

Are you sure it's engine oil and not dirty transmission fluid?
