Default Nut strip question

Hey guys just bought a smittybilt xrc rear tire carrier and it came with 2 nut strips. My 99 already has that nut strip on the passenger side. The nut strips that came with the bumper are both flat but the one in the jeep right now has a hump in it, would I be alright just using the factory strip or do I absolutely have to use the smittybilt one?

as long as the factory ones have the same threads for your bolts than yea, it's fine. The smittybilt ones are know to be kinda of cheap. They don't put the humps in it and instead let it bend when you bolt it down.
