NRG Steering Wheel Adapter
Where I live there are lots of XJ's and they get stolen often so I'm considering the NRG quick release steering wheel adapter.
The only good info I found showed cutting the steering shaft and drilling, tapping to install. I'm experienced enough to do it but I'm wondering if this applies to all years or if the adapter still requires this modification since it's and old video and no mention of year model.
1995 Sport, soon to be owned (hopefully) 1998 XJ.
Any info on this and your experience with them is greatly appreciated.
