Default NP242/auto locker

Does putting a locker in the rear axle of a Jeep with the NP242 defeat the fucntion of the NP242's full time 4wd function? If I remember correctly when in full time power is split 48/52.. But if a rear auto locker is instaled then the rear would always recieve drive to both rear wheels unless off the gas in a turn. Yes I know you could still use the full time 4wd with the rear locker on any surface but then what would happen? 48/100???

I hope my inquiry makes sense.. Just something I was thinking about so figure I'd ask to see if my thought process is right..

The 48/52 only refers to front to back power transfer. 48% of engine power to the front and 52% to the rear.

I think what I am going to say is on the right track but I could be entirely wrong so bare with.
When you are in Full Time 4wd the power split is 48/52 ideally but it is just an oped diff in full time so it acts like the axle diffs in any given situation so what would happen with a rear locker engaged and the center open you could end up with more power going to the front open diff and not enough or the desired amount going to you locked rear
hope this doesn't just look like word puke.

so to take full advantage of the rear locker it seems it would be best that the t-case is in part-time 4wd (locked center diff)
I also have the 242 and I like turning full lock without the drive train binding up while wheeling, and it isn't like i can't just put it in part-time when you need to.
