Bit of backstory
My jeep started as an 88xj 4.0>BA10/5>NP231, but when the BA10 finally took a dump on me i decided to scrap it and swap it for an AX15 (write up on the trans swap to come). In a little over 2 weeks we "finished" and the jeep was back to life and driving again, but the driveline angles were so bad a Slip Yolk Eliminator was necessary. In addition to the SYE, I figured that instead of messing with the junk factory tcase shift linkage again, I'd upgrade to the cable shifter set I saw Matt install on the BleepinJeep youtube channel (
)
I installed the cable set as instructed on the video (the given instructions belong in the garbage, additionally they didnt even send me all the hardware I needed, i was missing a hand full of nuts and washers)
With the cable set installed, I cant get my tcase to shift out of 2hi. If i get under the jeep I can move the shift bracket myself to get into 4hi, but cant get to N or 4lo without *really* forcing the bracket.
Has anyone had any experiences adjusting the cable length or issues getting to a chosen gear on this shift set?
Thanks in advance

Honestly, I am not sure. Novak seems like a good bunch of guys though, have you contacted them about the issues you are having?
I was debating on the cable shifter, but ended up with the BoostWerks solid rod kit instead. Working great for the past year or so!
Is the cable binding in the sleeve (causing you to have for "force" it to get the linkage to move)?
