my stock linkage is a rusty pos, so i got the novak cable . ? is for those who have installed it, to get the bolts thru the tunnel for the bracket that goes under it . remove drivers seat & move carpet or can it be done by removing console to install the bolts ? what so you all. thanks

I just installed mine this weekend actually and it was easier to remove the driver seat and roll the carpet up towards the center console and install that way.

thanks ,thats what it was looking like would work. btw how do you like the cable shifter once you got it installed & adjusted ? any tips for me.

No it's pretty straight forward on the install. Mine was fairly easy since I had the motor and tranny out. Putting on the t case mount might be a bit challenging but is do able. Just easier laying on the ground its smooth and engages nicely.

got it put on today, what a pain on a creeper.something aint right w/ it ,i run out of travel w/ the shifter handle before it will engage lo range . when it stops at the 4-lo index point im in neutral ?? any ideas

Sorry been working on getting mine running after a motor swap. Did you ever get it dialed in and hitting all gears? Mine seemed to only require the slightest adjustment after installing. Was pretty close right out of the box

well i could not get it right w/o cutting a notch in tc shifter bezel to allow it to travel far enuff back to engage low range. called novak 1st & was told other customers have had to do the same. they say my shifter arm is prolly not at the std correct bend ? it looked really close to me according to the template they send. well its in & it works, just more work then expected , it shifts great but a pain to install.
