No more aeroplane takeoffs...
ok i was reading on on how to losen up a fur pounds of torque and a few horses (also make it no sound like a plane is taking off everytime i punch it)... people were saying to delete the mechanical fan and replace it with an electrical one...
i was wondering if there are any side by side fans on any trucks that will fit a 96 xj, what one would be the best to get (from what truck), and how would i wire it in so that the one fan comes on when me truck is running and how would i wire the other fan in to kick on when the engin gets too hot?
thank for the help everyone

You would leave the stock electric fan alone. I've seen people use another stock electric fan to replace the mechanical one it requires slight modification of the radiator support. Some use a ford Taurus fan assembly. Some even just use an aftermarket fan that attaches directly to the radiator. Either way you would hook the replacement fan to key on power.

another very good kit
and if you can solder/connect on your own, you can save $50 from their price, so $239 for what is essentially the extreme kit from ffdynamics, more that $100 less

The Tarus fans are great for moving a ton of air. One correction though, a similar fan was used in the '94/'95 Mustang, not the '87-'93. They are a popular mod for those cars though. I put one in my '90 Mustang and it works awesome, running it off a Flex-a-lite variable speed controller so it only comes on when needed.
