Default Newer intake manifold

I picked up a newer intake manifold today, along with a spare throttle body, for my '95. Is it worth it to gasket match the manifold or just leave it as is and install it? Also, will be gasket matching the throttle body.

Also, I'm guessing that I would get a manifold gasket and throttle body gasket for a '95... correct?

You're going to need the power steering pump and brackets from a 96 and newer. The 95 and older pump and bracket won't work with the 99+ manifold. I did some dremmel work on mine when I did the swap. You have to be careful though, the casting is kind of thin in places. Use the gasket for a 95 4.0 and torque the bolts to 24lbsft. Torque them staring from the center and spiral out, then recheck them.

Thanks! Yeah, I got the torque thing down; already had to replaced the exhaust manifold, so I went with the APN.

I already have installed the apn header/manifold, 2.5" pipe, hi flo cat, super 44 muffler, relocated ait sensor, removed intake choke, removed flap behind headlight and opened up airbox more.... what gains could I expect, once I install the bored throttle body and newer intake manifold? I will eventually do a cowl intake also.

I think all throttle bodies have same mounting dimensions from 91-2001. So u wouldn't need to gasket match the throttle body
