Default New wheeling sound... not good?

Allright. I've had my xj lifted all summer and there are some questions I have. I have just started wheeling it on the weekends, and I have a good time. There's some new sounds I want to pinpoint. When I'm goin up a hill and If i start to spin out or bog down in sand, then there is a disticnt "klunk klunk klunk klunk" sound. I'd imagine it is something in my front drivline area? Also, I have never done drum brakes, but I decided to tackle them myself. Now when going over bumpy streets, it sounds like I'm pulling a POS boat trailer . I think it is something in my brakes just juggling around??? Any help would be appreciated.!
