New tires, now rubbing !
Hey guys,
I recently had 32"s put on my cherokee with a 4 inch lift. The tires are o.k except for the front 2. They rub right behind the tires on the fender where it attaches to the 1/4 panel. I was just going to cut a section away and put some screws in to hold the fender but has anyone else done something better ? pics would help ! thanks guys !

Also with these new tires and 16x7 8" MR-1 rims, I get a periodic whirling sound coming from the tires when going completely straight on a highway around 60 -70 mph ? I was thinking since my front end is completely stock except for the lift which was just coils, shocks and steering stabilizer, that I def need that long arm kit. Maybe an alignment ? also the steering stabilizer is about 5 years old so maybe that ? IDK ?

I run a 4.5" lift on 32/11.50/16 on a 16x9 rim. I have the correct offset. They still hit in lock turn on the front fender trim. they are a procomp all terrain. I think I may have to add a cutout fender trim.. You may have to do the same? Not sure if Wheel spacers would help??

Well, I basically just cut a section away from the bottom of the plastic fender where it was rubbing only to find out that it was also hitting the metal of the 1/4 panel. I took a pair of vice grips and rolled the metal inward about an inch, cut the wheel well plastic cover, drilled some holes and ziptied what needed it and sprayed anti-rust where some paint came off when i was bending the metal. Ill get some pics up asap.
