Default new suspension

so ive decided to put a rubicon express 4.5 inch lift on my 98 XJ. with 33in BFG mud terrains. and i want to put bilstein shocks on as well. bilstein makes a shock for a 3-4 inch lift and then for a 5-6 inch lift. i dont know which one i should use. im thinking the shock for the 5 -6 inch lift. and if anyone on here is already running the re 4.5in lift lemme know what you think of it.

If you're not super concerned with down time and you want to get it right the first time I'd suggest that you install the lift THEN measure for the shocks you need and order them. That's the only way to get it just right. Don't forget to bumpstop.

x2.. This would help guarantee proper length. And a big x2 on bump stops. If you get shocks that are too long, extended bump stops will prevent over stuffing you suspension and blowing a shock. Hell, even with a 2" BB and 235's I wish I had longer bumps.

Yeah I'll definitely go with the 5-6 inch shock. And gonna start looking for some bump stops too. Now I just gotta find the time. Lol.

Ooooor completely ignore what we said. That's cool too. I'm used to it. My kids do it all the time.
