I was thinking about doing this do achieve a 3" lift. Any thought how performance and flex would be? Thanks

Should work fine for a 3" lift. Might not even need the shackle relocation, but if you do, get the low profile brackets that dont provide any lift. But what you're planning is pretty much the exact route I was going to go for 3.5", minus the relocation brackets.
I currently have the Quadratec HD leaves, they gave me 1.5" of lift. And if I wanted to go to 3-3.5", I have some RC shackles I could add. I like the HD leaves too, still pretty flexy, with a slightly firmer ride than stock (which is a good thing to me). Flexes just as good as the stock springs did, even with my stock shocks limiting the downtravel.

My plan for3.5" in the rear is: old man emu 2.5" leafs dakota shackles (1"longer than stock ), and HD offroad shackle relocators (5/8" of built inLift(already installed))
