New engine- am I missing anything
Alright guys so I have been stocking parts for awhile now and I am about to take a few days off to install my stroker.. what I have to install
Golen 4.6 Stroker
AFE Power Twister Header
2.5" High Flow Spun Cat
2.5" Exhaust (have to get down pipe done at shop- cant find one online)
Flow Master Super40
Accel 24.3lb injectors
Accel Super Coil
New Distributer cap/rotor/wires
62mm TB
Brown Dog Industries motor mounts (whole mount not just motor mount)
Champion Aluminum Radiator
All new Feel-Pro Gaskets
New plugs/oil filter/break in oil etc
Torco Industries HD toque converter
Wix Transmission Filter
Already installed:
Spectre Cowl Intake
New water pump/thermostat
My question is what else would you replace while doing this? Am I missing anything that will be a challenge later that would just be easy to do now? Im considering removing the AC and moving the alternator up while its all apart... Thanks!

I don't see a transmission cooler in there either. Unless 5 speed?
Transmission mount...
Replace top two torx bolts with a hex on the bell housing.
Dual electric fans..
I had rubber brown dog motor mounts. Vibrated like crazy anyway so I took them off.
Keep the ac and get a shield for the alternator.
Seems like you have a ton of money invested. Why stop now? Lol

Its an auto- The Champion 3row has a "built-in" tranny cooler and I have the stock one if I don't like the way that works haha.
I considered getting one of the radiators with the 3 electric fans but after reading reviews everyone said that it ran hotter than before. I have hood vents etc and currently run right at 205 no matter what- Only replacing because I have to pull radiator anyways (I prefer to pull engine out the front) and mine is in rough shape.
I don't ever use my AC anyways though I don't really like the way the write ups I have seen mount the alt up higher (just welding it in place where it doesn't fit) Do you know of any Alt shields? If so I might get one instead and keep the AC incase my daughter or someone wants to tag along with me and doesn't like the wind in their face I guess I could fab one up- I saw a guy when I was stationed in LA that had a tuperware around it- would close the lid before crossing water haha.
I shopped around and got a good deal on everything- saved money and have been taking my time (a lot on ebay) just made sure I had good brand name parts- Info on the stroker forum helped a lot. If I had the know-how/tools I would have built my own stroker but I don't lol. I think total Itll be slightly above 6000.. same as my wifes truck payments for a year or two (how I get away with it)

So I have tranny mounts and oil filter adapter O-rings- Anything else anyone can think of? In the transmission? Sensors? That kind of thing.
Thanks!
Thanks!

New O2 sensors would be smart, along with any sensors that look old or may need replacing. It'll save you from replacing them on down the road when their harder to get to. Also if you haven't gotten one already a wideband O2 sensor would be a safe investment so you can somewhat "tune" your air-fuel ratio. I would go ahead and do the water pump too. It looks like you have a lot of it covered though.

Engine: 4.0 I6
Maybe do another gauge on the A-pillar, and the trans temp like this:

EDIT:
Also flush power steering and brake fluid, and clean/degrease the engine bay thoroughly. New hoses and belts if yours are old. Flush heater-core as well.
Use die-electric or marine electric grease when putting all connectors back together, and clean all ground/electrical points. Im sure there is tons of little things you can do when re-installing if you wanted to.

AEM or Innovate Motorsports are the only wideband's I would use.

I plan on doing the dielectric grease again- the pain will be cleaning the old stuff (2/3 years old) out haha. I will definitely be scrubbing the engine bay down. Your power steering comment reminded me about upgrading to the Durango steering box... Im going to go find that thread... thanks!
