Hello thank you all for your tips on my coolant leak i have discovered it was my thermostat gasket so im going to replace the housing, gasket and thermostat itself i, i have alot of mantience i need to do on my jeep including water pump replacement rear main seal replacment oil pan gasket and all that fun stuff lol, im getting absoulty horrible MPGs like 8-9 im only on a tiny lift with 31s and was wondering what you all think i need to replace ive done some searching and people say to swap out O2 sensors but that it could also be a my exahust system all backed up so im jus tcurious ive also discorved a odd whiring sound in the engine bay when at idle and drive after some off roading and a very deep wash so im confused on what that could be any help would be appreciated!

 

I have an XJ with 33's and my gas mileage is fine. I had to perform a lot of maintenance though.

The whiring sound could be power steering, but impossible to say at the moment.

Tackle one issue at a time, and read old threads regarding MPG.

 

8-9 is freaking awesome mpg
