Need some Water/Mud proof seat covers
This summer Im taking my doors off my Cherokee and I need some seat covers that would work good for mudding/light water crossings/ rain and want to know if there are any that are made specifically for Jeep Cherokees. The head rests are not adjustable on my Cherokee and its a 99 if that matters, not sure if others are. Ill want both front covers and one for the bench.
Please dont say anything about taking the doors off being a bad idea, the seal wont be proper again, or its illegal. I understand what Im getting into.

I have not seen a seat cover that handles your request but I do see a lot of people getting heavy duty garbage bags and using them instead.
By the way in most places it's not illegal to have the doors off as long as you have mirrors and because the way the floor is designed so that if you have stuff on the floor it won't roll out during a turn. Wrangler doors are removable and I have yet to see any cop pull them over for it except for no mirrors. So put some mirrors on and go with it. Ran my last xj without doors and cops would pull up next to me and compliment me and make sure I at least had a drivers side mirror.
Good luck with search for seat covers

Heres what I have found. http://www.quadratec.com/products/74272_80X_PG.htm They dont look very good, but I think they are what I need, I just want something thats easy to clean up, already stripped most of the interior and the only thing Im worried about would be the seats.
The Mossy Oak looks good but I cant find the rear bench seat, and I think the way the back seat hooks into the body would make it a unique fit.

I've got some ideas on this, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. Do reupholstry shops work on automotive seats?
I've been tempted in the past to order a roll of neoprene off eBay and let someone just reupholster my interior, but again, I have no idea if this is a thing that's even possible. Would be cool if someone on here wanted to be a guinea pig.

That's something I've never thought of. My parents redid their moped seat. Didn't look as good as original. But it worked just fine. The trouble is finding a sewing machine strong enough to go through the material.
There's also the fact that my Jeep is my daily. And driving around in a lawn chair kinda attracts the cops.

I had recovered my motorcycle seat over the summer and couldn't find leather for a good price. So I went with a marine vinyl. Same stuff that's on boat seats now I can ride in my work jeans ( usually very greasy and dirty) without worrying about ruining it. Clean up is a breeze also.
