Need Some info, Please Help!
I just got an 89 XJ with a 4.0 and an AW4 auto. One of the former owners cut the steel tranny cooler lines at the front of the engine block, then used fuel line to connect it to a new tranny cooler. The lines have rotted and are leaking. Same goes for the power steering low pressures lines, they installed a cooler for it, and the lines are leaking. Now I have 50 psi fuel hose and was wondering if it was strong enough to use for the tranny cooler lines and the p/s cooler?
I can't find referance any where in either of my repair manuals about what the trans cooler pressure is or what the pressure is on the Low side of the p/s. Does anyone know what the pressure is on the tranny cooler lines and the low side of the p/s? |
