Need some advice on increasing my lift while working with what I have
I am doing an LCOG build. The ultimate goal is 4.5-5" and 35s but for now it will be 33s.
I've worked the front out but I am in a quandary in the rear as I just found out that I don't have what I thought I had out back (P.O. misled me).
My rear setup is as follows:
Would the Superior shackle get me where I want to be or should I scrap the idea and get new rear leafs? Build a bastard pack?
What would you do? I really don't want to buy new leaf springs but I also don't want to cobble some half-assed setup together.

- OME 2.25" rear leaf
- 1" block (From OME - was a 3" lift)
- 1.5" shackle

Get rid of that block, buy 3.5" leafs and use a 2" shackle.
I am currently running Rubicon Express 3.5" leafs with Rough Country Shackles and im about 5 - 6" in the rear.
my .10 cents

How's the condition of the current leaf springs? And what has been done to get 4" in the rear so far?
1" isn't all that much. With relocation brackets and/or leaf sliders, you may get the inch you need.

x2 on relocation brackets. They will help your ride quality and flex as well.
I just bought these and they are BEEF

Those blocks came with the original OME 3" lift.
Also bear in mind I did NONE of this fiasco of a lift. The front is a joke too (3" coils, 1.75" spacer, stock CAs, stock track bar).

That is $500 extra that isn't really in the budget and I have yet to see a decent set of used ones come up for sale since I started looking a bit over a month ago.
I also don't want to go over 5".
Minimal sag as the 3 numbers add up to exactly what I am sitting at (2.25 + 1 + .75) so figure they have only sagged/settled whatever overage was built in to them.
I thought about that too given that it seems as though they are a pretty good idea regardless - at least based on what I have read.

meh stock track bar is fine till about 4" of lift, and can be relocated to work for up to 6" of lift
but yea, adjustable LCAs should be towards to top of your list

I'd recommend the Rough Country shackle relocation brackets. They will get you the extra inch you want and you can keep the OME leafs. I'm told there are no leafs made that ride and flex better than OME. Plus, the RC shackle relocators are adjustable and completely bolt in. No welding required.

...and I 2nd what Gee Oh Dee said. Sling those lift blocks so far out in the weeds that nobody ever finds them again. Blocks are fine for a cheap way to lift a "road driven only" truck but, they should never be used on anything that is 4wheeled.

Sitting in the garage waiting for the final bits to come together I have:
- Rubicon Express Monotube shocks (4.5-5.5" lift)
- Rubicon Express Long Arm kit
- JKS track bar (4-6" lift)
I already have a 1" drop pitman and will run that w/the ZJV8 linkages until I find a used Teraflex knuckle (Just missed one on NAXJA by a few hours).

Niceeeeee
I recommend you look at HD/higher spring rate coils (like in the 200lb/in+ range) for the winch/bumper weight. Taller doesn't always mean they'll handle the load better

I wasn't so much looking at taller to handle the load so much as having room to sag. a 4.5" coil would end up around 4ish inches after they are loaded.
I am basing this assumption solely on the fact that my front is just under 4" with the 3" coils and 1.75" spacers.
EDIT: Here is the pile o' stuff I've been accumulating for a year. I need to get off my *** and start wrenching haha!

Just ordered the HD brackets.
I think with those and the Superior shackles I should be able to pull my blocks and still be where I want to be using my OME spring until I can source a more permanent solution.
The advantage to keeping my springs is that they are almost flat which is what you want in an LCOG setup.
