Need reviews for 4.5" Rough Country X-Series Lift
Hey everybody. Possibly looking to buy this lift. Main things I am concerned about is stiffness of ride (because of shocks), and parts failing quickly. I have heard completely mixed reviews so please comment if you have this lift. Thanks!

Well i have most of the parts in that picture. Mine was a DD until i killed it at an offroad event. I wheel mine. Hard. I beat the **** out of it. None of the parts i have had ever failed me. It rides just like a jeep. The one beef i have is the spring packs. They blow. Plain and simple. I run rubicon express 3.5 packs ind i like those much better.
P.S i know several guys that i go wheeling with run RC parts and beat on them. No problems yet.

Ive had this setup since nov. its my daily driver, the ride is great the leafs kinda hard on bumps but not back breaker. Youll get used to it. Great off road super smooth to my taste. The only bad thing that happens to all shocks is that the bushings go out quickly but easy fix. Other than that i feel thats its great and the most complete for the price.

Ah i thought those were the 2.2's. Thats what i run. I cannot comment on the N.2's or whatever because i have never had them or wheeled with somebody that has had them.

It's stiff as **** until you start adding bumpers and sliders.
Your rear leaves (assuming you get the full 4.5in pack) will be short and your shackle angle will be terrible unless you put some weight in the back.
I have no experience with the xflex arms/joints.

I have this exact lift and like the other guys have said mine rides pretty good, yea rear is a little stiff but actually anyone that has rode with me has been surprised at how it rides to be lifted. I havent had a single issue with any parts failing or being crappy quality. If you are worried about the rears separating have them modified like I did mine, had TruckPro rebuild them and add some extra retainer clips.

Havent really noticed until you posted that pic but what would be the solution? shackle relocators? Still kinda new to the Jeep thing, used to K5's, K20's, and fullsizes.

true true....what are the lengths of packs that are ideal? I have a **** ton of packs from K20s and K5's that i could build up or down and do zero-rates with if they would work......some are 52" some are 42"
