Need help please
I have a 1990 jeep cherokee limited edition high output and i ordered a 3 inch lift kit. I wanted to know if i have to do anything with the track bar? If i should get an adjustable one or drill a new hole like some say? Or is it good the way it is since 3" isn't that big. Can anybody give me some help thanks.

I have a 3" and stock track bar. My XJ pulls just a little to the right because of it. My alignment is good and the tires wear even. I read somewhere on here that the stock track bar is just a little too short and pulls the axle to the left a bit. Strange that the axle is to the left and it pulls to the right. But, like I said, I read about the problem on here. Right now, it's not enough to worry about, I don't even really notice it anymore.
My XJ had the lift on it when I bought it and I'm planning on going higher in the future. At that time, I'll get an adjustable one. I just can't justify the expense right now and it doesn't really effect anything.

You CAN have a 3 in lift with factory track bar BUT most likely it might cause the front axle to sit crooked. Some guys on here will insist its not needed. I would STRONGLY advise an adjustable track bar on a xj lifted 3" and up. I have the bds adjustable track bar. Works well for me. Just my 2 cents.
