Arrow need help diagnosing vehicle vibration/wobble..stock cherokee

so the other day i was just cruising along at about 40-50mph and my entire xj starts vibrating, more like wobbling, i took to my side and i saw my passanger seat shaking like crazy, i slowed down to see if it would stop but it didn't. it kept doing it til i turned the vehicle off. when i turned it back on, i drove it again and went up to 75-80 and the wobble didn't happen. its not death wobble cause i can fully control the vehicle, i just don't know why the hell this is happenin?!

my jeep is completely stock right now and haven't installed my lift yet so i wasn't sure if it was driveline issue but I'm not 100% sure. any help is appreciated!

It didn't stop when you came to a stop!? You had to shut the engine down to make it stop?

DW stops as soon as you come a stop. Any driveline vibration will stop when you come to a stop.

Any shake you felt after you come to a stop was the engine misfiring horribly.

A broken belt in a rear tire will cause a shake JUST like that. If it were in the front wheels, it would be more evident in the steering wheel and not so much in the *** of your seat.

yeah thats what i don't get. like it happened once and then i drove it about 5 or 6 times after it happened and it was all good and then it did it again. my motor mounts are good and there isn't like a clump of mud on my rim thats unbalancing it or anything.idk man, y'all think it might have something to do with the driveline? its even possible for a stock height chero to get dw?!

Could be an out-of-balance wheel/tire combined with a bad motor and/or tranny mount that amplifies the vibration into the cabin. Check your mounts and have your tires balanced.

PS: Your XJ is stock so this belongs in the OEM Cherokee Tech.

i plan on buying my 31 km2 next week after payday so i might just wait til i get my wheels mounted and balanced then install my lift and go get an alignment. hopefully that'll take care of the problem.
