Need Help... breaking issues 03 cherokee
I just recently replaced a faulty pass side break line.....come to find out a week later that it was missing a copper washer when I lost breaking power while driving.... Thank god I wasn't on the highway!.....I replaced the missing washer and stopped the leak, then bled all four lines and still my peddle hits the fire wall......so I was told that it may be the master cylinder....so I went out and bought and replaced it, bled it & all four lines again and still the peddle hits the fire wall.........I can't seem too issolate the problem !!
Can someone help!!!!!

I will try that.... Hope that is the cause.
But let me ask you this... I get pressure build-up when the jeep is off, it gets nice and stiff & when i turn it on i don't get the pressure build-up while the jeep is on....so that eliminates the power booster right?

Did you bench bleed the master? Even if you did, get someone in the jeep, crack the lines at the master..1 AT A TIME..have them push the pedal to the floor and hold it. You should have a steady stream of brake fluid comin out of the cracked lines. Close the line, let the pedal go..Crack the line, pedal to the floor and hold it. One more time.. thats 3. Now do the other line, but fill the master first. Do that to both lines until no air comes out. In other words a steady stream not spitting. Ok, Now fill the master and starting at the passenger rear, crack it and floor the pedal. Hold it, close the bleeder, let go of the pedal. Now pump the pedal 5 times, hold it, crack the bleeder, close it, let the pedal go. Do this about 3 times to every wheel. Starting at the passenger side rear, then drivers side rear, then passenger side front, last...drivers side front. Above all, NEVER let the pedal go with the bleeder open on any wheel. And NEVER LET YOUR MASTER GO DRY. You will suck air back into the system......Thats the PROPER way to bleed brakes.
