My Jeep Is Trying To Kill Me
Not really.. But its trying to pull into oncoming traffic. It pulls left pretty hard.
All tires are 35psi
Track Bar is dead center.
Both wheel bearings and u joints are fairly new.
Alignment was just done.
Specs.
Caster .1 L 9.5 R 9.4
Camber .3 L -.9 R -.6
Toe .0 L 0 R 0
Iron Rock Offroad Crossover Steering
RoughCountry LongArms
33" Cooper Discoverer Stt
Durango Steering Box
Trackbar and Draglink are almost perfecly parallel.
Aside from the axle being rolled forward to help pinion angle, the only thing I see wrong is the left ball joints (theyre not loose or shot but theyre not within alignment specs).
Any help would be appreciated. I gave as much info as I could think of.

It pulls while driving. And pulls sometimes when I break. Breaking it will pull hard left and if I let off and press again it will break straight. Sometimes.

switch your front tires side to side. meaning left front goes to the right front and the right front goes to were the left front was at. tires can cause a "radial" pull. If the truck goes straight down the road or it starts to pull to the right, then you need two new tires

The jeep has pulled since early summer. Meaning its had two different sets of tires both rotated every 3k miles. Didn't change anything. And I replaced calipers in the fall thinking that was the problem and it didn't help.

If the arms are the issue the hole mounting them could have wallowed out like the track bar on XJs like to do when upgraded. You could check that too but I doubt that it would cause a constant pull...
Did you do your own alignment?

Maybe the long arms are adjusted differently or they found a way to become that way...? was there any significant event that happened right before you started noticing it?

The alignment was done at a shop.

I would just do your ball joints. If they are bad and the axle is rolled instead of the axle tilting on the vertical axis now it's actually turning slightly. And if it doesn't help, well at least you have good balljoints now.
What exactly do you mean when you say they are not within alignment specs?

My jeep used to do the exact same thing. I chased the problem all over and finally found it to be Rough Country's garbage "flex" joints. They wore out in about 2 serious wheeling trips and they were letting my axle move enougn to cause it to pull. Switched to RK joints and no more problems!

You need to add a little toe in. An 1/8" toe in is what I run but I do alignments with a tape measurer, but my jeep is on 40in super swampers and tracks straight with no pull at all

How old is your IRO setup? Does it make clunking noises? I've heard stories of the heims going bad.
What shop did your alignment? If it wasn't an Offroad shop I'd check it all out. I tried taking mine to a shop and they wouldn't do it cause it was out of factory specs and they couldn't guarantee the work.

I'm assuming that you are running different axles or it's a street queen with those size tires? 1/8" toe is correct however I don't think your situation is quite the same.
