Multifunction Switch?? Or No?
The other day i found out when i turn my left turn signal my hazard lights go on but only in the rear, the fromt works fine. The right blinkers work fine. The left blinker will work if you hold it half way at the first click but te 2nd click(all the way down) on go the hazards. Also today i found out my brights if you push it all the way out to have the high beams permanantly on they dont go on, but if you pull the switch back toward you they will go on but you have to hold it. I replaced the relay bc i have read that that may be the cheaper fix but it didnt work. Anyways my question is would this be the multi function switch for sure or something else??

I had a similar issue with my '93 Laredo.. I started to remove the multi-switch and found that the connector was loose (a little bolt/nut held it together) I tightened the nut, and it seemed ok. But.. after putting it all back together, another problem (hi beams ok, now no low beams) Got in there again and found one of the wires had come loose from the connection itself. It's kind of hard to describe, but the wires from one side of the connector can be pulled out from the other side even if the connectors are bolted together. You'll see what I mean if you get in there. Hope this helps.

I was looking for help not sarcasm. if it makes sense for me to start a whole new thread on an old truck then i would do that but the word newbie wouldn't tell you anything...... That was my first time commenting on a forum and if i have people like you to expect then consider it my last.
