Mud terrain Daily driver

I'm looking for a mud terrain tire that has decent road manners (I dont mind some howling but nothing crazy) I use it on the road everyday with some weekend Trails, some mud, little rock use. I was preferably looking for 32/11.5/R15 if you know who sells that size THANKS FOR THE HELP

Great tires, had them on my old ford.

But i run 32x11.5 maxxis bighorns on my xj and they have great road manners and are awesome off road...bout 7 months old and still like new.

You are looking for a quite mud tire.......HAHAHA!!!

Just kidding, seriously I would look into interco Trxus MT's followed by the guarddogs. I ran the Trxus's in both 33" and 35" and they were the best all around tire I've used or seen. Snow, ice, rocks, gravel, sand, trails and still able to handle 85mph on the highway, they were great. I would average about 40k miles per set, but I rotated them religiously and used balancing beads to keep them round.

I am now running a set I Maxxis big horns just because I needed new tires and couldn't past the deal up. These also work great on trails and mud....XJ is now a play toy.

Another tire I would take a look at is the Duratrac from Goodyear. I've heard great things about them. Plus there was a JK at jamboree with them this year and he put that 4 door every way I guided him. I was definitely impressed, I asked him how they ride was and I quote, "Slight hum above 65, but ride straight as an arrow at 75mph."

Heard great things about the new Goodyear mtr... Good street manners, great in mud and on the rocks.

I sure do enjoy my BFG KM2's. Smooth and quiet as a daily driver and they did really well on a 1500 mile road trip I did a month ago.
But with whatever tire you go for be sure and maintain good tire balance and rotation as well as a good alignment. Those three items will definitely help the life of your tires.

another for km2's

XJ-92 11-26-2011 07:30 PM

KM2's are great i travel 350 miles every other weekend on highway and they are pretty quite and did great at the cliffs today in a hill climb in the rain

I can't say they are quiet but I love my Cooper STT's... they are not as loud as some other mud tires but they still hum a bit. They are good in all conditions I have seen with them so far (weather wise). And they seem to be wearing well... that is actually one reason I chose them from reviews they were rated well for DD wear. But to each their own...

Ditto on the TreadWright Guard dogs. I know many people with themand they LOOOOOVE them.

Love my KM2s. I had the Mickey Thompson MTZs for a while and liked them on road and on dirt gravel roads. Didn't like them on the rocks and they wouldn't clean out when in the mud. The Gaurddogs from Treadwright are great tires as well

KM2'S get my vote also. great tire. quiet and great tread life.
The cooper STT is also a great tire.

I'll throw another point for km2's. I run them on my dd s10 zr2 and are great on and off road. Some tires i don't have any experience with but have heard good things about is the goodyear duratrac and cooper stt. But my vote goes to the km2's, rotate them and watch the pressures and they'll do 30-40k
