MSD Pro-Billet Distributor pros/cons
Was looking through my Summit catalog and saw that MSD makes a pro-billet distributor for the Jeep I-6.
Are there any real advantages to using one of these in a Jeep?

Billet is made from a solid piece and machined down, so in theory yes the shaft itself is better. I have run MS dist. in other vehicles, not jeep/I6 though. Mostly SBC, a couple dodge small blocks with success. If had for a decent price. worth it.

I,m sure any new distributor has got to have tighter running clearances and be true to spark distribution than the miled out original on my 89. If you need a distributor and as Met says, it's a good price, go! If you don't need it,? then every XJ has more than one area needing attention and a bandage of dollars.
I've used MSD on SBC also, it is a good product.
