Motor Swap
Ok im just wanting to know what all do i need to know to swap out from my 4.0ho to a 360. Im just tryen to get everything toghter for this project lol will my tranny bolt up and stuff like that any help will be grateful please and thank you

The V8 won't bolt up to your 6 cyl. trans. If it's fuel injected you'll need the wiring harness and PCM from the donor vehicle to make it "slightly" easier.

Thank you ol blue for the info its helped but what I'm wanting to put in is the 360 out of a 85 dodge I'm just getting a Lil stumped on what to do lol

You'll need to get an adapter to connect that 360 & 727 trans to your t-case, and some motor mounts.
Hooking up the '85 engine is easy. Get rid of the electric in-tank fuel pump as it supplies too much pressure. Carbs only need about 8 psi. Hook up the '85s electronic ignition. Mopar sells a kit for this if you don't know how.

and they can sell you a wiring harness for it with what you need.

ooops missed it 360 trans to xj transmission, im stick id love to dump a 318/340 with carb in mine cant find adap any where
