Motor options
While I love the idea of dropping a Chevy into my Cherokee(always been a Chevy guy) I've got a perfectly good, low mile I6 in it now and don't want it to go to waste. So my question is this: What are the options with the stock motor? I'm seeing stroker, which I'd rather resort to when/if this one pops. Saw supercharger. Is there a company that makes a reasonably priced forced induction kit? Or if I fab up my own, what needs doing with any computers involved? So far speed hasn't been very high on my priority list, because going too fast is always what I've gotten in trouble for in the past. But that doesn't mean the interest isn't there. I just haven't been looking, for the sake of my insurance rates.

If you know the basics fabbing up a turbo set up isn't too hard. With renix you mainly need bigger injectors, adjustable file pressure regulator, I believe an adjustable map will work..... jp magazine did a whole big write up on it. It's in their online.tech articles. Check it out. Other then that the normal cam head porting/ intake manifold massage bigger valves and better exhaust are it. Renix is easy on those mods because out van easily adjust he mixture with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and adjustable map..... check out leigh performance machine also for a 60mm throttle body.
